All personnel are required to take notes carefully during the training and participate in a unified assessment after the training. The training does not go through the motions, and the participants must learn and gain something.

The company will also hold technical competitions from time to time. After establishing a business model, everyone has a benchmark for learning and is more targeted. In the KBA75 production line, our minimum scrap rate can be controlled below 0.3 percent . In the UNISET60 production line, our scrap rate can be controlled at a minimum of about 0.8 percent , which is a good level in the same industry.

Properly preset prepress inks

The troops and horses have not moved, and the food and grass will go first. In terms of reducing the scrap rate, the pre-press ink preset link is tantamount to an important link that determines the outcome of the war. After the operator gets the printing plate, first determine the printing unit to which the printing plate belongs, and then pre-adjust the corresponding ink consumption to a reasonable range according to the area of the layout. After that, the ink in the ink fountain is fully stirred, and the ink glue is inked. The amount of ink should be based on experience. If it is too much, it will cause the phenomenon of smearing after starting the printing, too much ink on the printed product, and large amount of water and ink. In this case, we will roll away the excess ink with clean paper in advance to achieve a suitable state. If the ink is too small, the printed product will be white at first, and the ink is not easy to balance. When the operator has adjusted the ink color and can receive the report, the rejection rate has quietly increased. Appropriate ink preset can make the ink balance in one step after the start-up and pressure are combined. In addition to the need to fine-tune the ink volume, there are at least a dozen copies of the waste at start-up.

In this link, the ink presetting personnel are very important, especially in the case of a stack of four or five newspapers, any inappropriate ink presetting of one page of colors will affect the printing quality of the entire stack of newspapers. Sometimes, it is because the ink color of a certain edition of a stack of newspapers is not adjusted in place, so that on the one hand, the machine cannot be accelerated, which affects the timeliness; Therefore, the method we take is to check the preset inks with each other and the captain. Whether it is the amount of ink applied to each printing unit or the memory value on the machine console, we must carefully check and not let it go. any detail. If there is a problem, it should be dealt with before starting the machine, which can effectively reduce the generation of scrap, improve the timeliness, and avoid the phenomenon of rushing to adjust the ink color after starting the machine.

The success of ink presetting is closely related to the amount of waste, and it is indispensable to do a good job in this link.

Identify and use waste

If a newspaper is not qualified, it is a matter of course to treat it as a waste newspaper. But a newspaper consists of multiple sheets. At this time, if one of the newspapers is unqualified, what should I do with this newspaper? Before, we treated it as waste newspapers, and, in line with the corporate philosophy of "customer first, first-class quality" , "I would rather kill a thousand by mistake" and do not allow a scrap to flow out of the factory. Of course, the number of scrapped reports is also skyrocketing, sometimes even reaching a "horrible" level. Later, under the measure of seeking benefits from the details, we carefully screened the scrap newspapers, especially the paper scraps, running paper edges, dirty editions and other newspapers were classified and eliminated, reintegrated, and budgeted carefully.

For example, in a stack of 5 daily newspapers, if the printing volume is 300,000 copies at a time, excluding factors such as changing plates in the middle, scrubbing the blanket, etc., only taking the paper splicing as an example, a roll of 400 kg of newsprint will basically print about 15,000 copies , then, only one paper needs to be connected 20 times, and one time is calculated by throwing away at least 5 joint wastes. In this printing production, 100 pieces of paper will be thrown away, and 500 pieces of paper will be thrown away, and the weight is about 40 Kilogram. And we eliminate the waste of the joints of different paper paths, replace them with the finished products of other paper paths, and combine them into a stack of qualified products. In this way, nearly 400 finished newspapers, weighing about 30 kilograms, can be excavated from the scrap paper. Calculated on an average of 3 times of printing, a production line alone saves 90 kilograms of paper. This does not include conditions such as paper breakage, running edges, etc. To sum up, the amount of newspapers screened and used from waste newspapers alone amounts to hundreds of kilograms, and our company has 4 production lines, the effect of paper saving is self-evident.

Gather sand into towers, gather armpits into furs, and do the detail work well, and it is not a difficult thing to reduce the scrap rate.

Double check the prepress data

The data must be carefully checked in pre-press production to prevent problems before they occur. On the UNISET60 and KBA75 equipment, there is an ink volume memory function, which can record the ink volume adjusted to the best state during printing the previous day. The value can guarantee the ink color requirements of the layout. In the paper holder, the gram weight of the paper is different, the corresponding tension control will also change, and the proportion and water consumption are different due to the difference of the fountain solution. These data closely related to printing production must be carefully checked before printing, and the rejection rate should not be greatly increased because a certain data is not checked in place.

This happened once in our company. During the process of the employee presetting the ink and loading the printing plate on the machine to wait for printing, according to the process of mutual inspection, another employee put the ink on the layout he had preset. After checking the ink volume and water volume, it was found that in one of the ink volumes, there was a very small ink volume value in one area. The value of the ink area is increased. However, when pre-inking the ink roller, the staff found that the area where the ink nail was located was obviously less ink. When checking the value of the ink nails again, it is found that the value that has just been adjusted has returned to its original position. So it was determined that there was a problem with the ink nail. When the equipment maintenance personnel checked, they found that the small motor controlling the ink nail was faulty. After the replacement, the ink nail value returned to normal, which did not affect the production of the day.

If the data is not carefully checked, the problem is discovered after the machine is running normally, and then the machine is shut down for maintenance, then the increase in scrap and the impact on timeliness will not be a little bit. Only by doing a good job in various aspects can the cost be reduced and the profit maximized, so that the enterprise can cope with the "small profit" with ease.
